Team ODIN would boss the first period, which would begin on a goal by Captain Jason Fischbach, who would roof from Greg "The Chairman" Chierchie. For most of the period, that would be the only goal, but a late finish by Alec Antunes from Michael "The Dachshund" Malarowski, and a later finish by Pete Sztankovits from Devin Long and Matt "Strawberry Milk" Skjeie would make it 3-0 ODIN going into the second period. The first period shot totals would be 14-10 ODIN. Tyler Morris would have a perfect first period, and would continue his play well into the second, by stoning Minotaur when they would have a 2-on-1. Eventually ODIN would have a power play when Gregg Novotny would be called for a hook; Team ODIN would make their power play count with a Ryan Bolton goal, as they would increase their grasp on this one, now 4-0. Needing something, anything to give them hope, Minotaur would finally pull back a goal when Cory Rothlisberger would rush down the wing and cut across the middle to fire in against the grain, for 4-1, which would be how the second period would end. The shot totals would now be 25-22 ODIN. The third period would begin with a Minotaur goal, Darrell Blackbourn from Brendan Breheny on a drop pass, going low and off the pipe. The next few minutes would be testy for Team ODIN, but Morris would continue his phenomenal goaltending and keep Minotaur from getting any closer. Bolton would add another goal, for 5-2 ODIN, which would provide them with enough breathing room to comfortably get to the buzzer by that scoreline, outshooting Mintoaur 36-32. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Ryan Bolton (2G), and Tyler Morris (2GA, 30/32 saves).
