Ooff! would jump out to a 2-0 lead with goals in a span of 15 seconds: Brendan Kinney from Ray Sarlo, and Michael Costello from Ed "The Giraffe" Jefferys. Kinney would bring it to 3-0 with an unassisted beauty, and then he would complete his hat trick into the roof of the net from Chris Fagan for 4-0, which would be the score heading into the second period, with Ooff! leading on shots 15-3. The second period would be more Ooff!, when Costello would finish from Sarlo, and when The Giraffe would pick off a puck as if he would be reaching for a fruit from a tall tree, play it to Costello, who would masterfully return it with a crisp pass, for Jefferys to go low. Now 5-0, Jimmy DiPaolo would pull Ooff! to 6-0 up with his nifty moves, but The Clinic Club would fire back with a goal by Mike Stapleton, for 6-1. DiPaolo from Fagan, then Fagan unassisted would be the next members of the Onomatopoeia Crew to get on the scoresheet, and it would be 8-1 at the end of two periods, now leading on shots 30-10. Due to the lopsided scoreline, the third period would mostly be a non-event, with the only goals by The Clinic Club when Glen Cullen and Stapleton would net, which would make it 9-3 for the final. Ooff! would more than double up The Clinic Club on shots, which would be 40-16. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Brendan Kinney (3G), Michael Costello (2G, 1A), and Chris Fagan (1G, 2A).
