Lux Interior would have early pressure on the Biohazards, and reap what they sow with a goal by Mike Nudo from Spencer "The Truth" Truesdell and Kevin "The 77 Train" Tucker. Mike "Eye of The" Tyburski would bring it to 2-0 Lux, then when The 77 Train would link up and go high from Nudo, it would be 3-0. The first period would be capped off with a slapper by The Truth, which would be as beautiful as you could hope to see, in what would finish as an absolute manhandling of the Biohazards by Lux Interior, who would go into the break up 4-0 and 14-10 on shots. In the second period, The Truth would storm out of the gate and continue where he left off with another goal, as a rout appeared imminent. But the Biohazards would not give up and get on the board with Achilles Alon from Sean "Babyface" Feeney. Now down 5-1, the Biohazards would have some momentum when the period would end and would attempt a four goal comeback in the third period. The shot totals would now be 24-17 Lux Interior. An early third period goal by Chris "Scoots" Parliman would mean 6-1 Lux Interior, and the game seemingly done and dusted. But this would not be the case and the Biohazards would pull back a goal with Matt Grunenthal. There would be 10:08 remaining when Grunenthal would score, but Lux goalie Ian Lynch would do his part to prevent the Biohazards from having a realistic shot at a comeback. With 2:20 to go, Greg "Turn Down for What" Ternlund would bring the Biohazards to down three, and there would be 44 seconds left when Grunenthal from Alon would further cut the deficit, now 6-4. But Lux Interior would do enough from that point on to take it by that final. The final shot totals would be 38-29 Lux Interior. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Spencer "The Truth" Truesdell (2G, 1A). Honorable mention goes to Ian Lynch, 25 saves on 29 shots against).
