Goals aplenty in this one, which would begin with Andrew "Lil 'Drew" Park on a laser into the top corner for 1-0 Flaming Dragon II, but the Tusks would level it when Anthony "The Inferno" Inverno would be on the end of a pretty play by Nick Aloise and Erich Polak. The Tusks would then go 2-1 up when Captain Matt "Sly" Fox would go low from Polak and Robert Neuwirth, but a 2-on-1 featuring Chris Crenshaw and Tyler Mishchenko would result in a Crenshaw goal after Mishchenko's pinpoint accurate pass, before Ernie "Big Ern" Park would put his Fire Breathing Buddies ahead on a slap shot, for 3-2 at the first intermission. The first period shot totals would be 13-9 Flaming Dragon II. The Tusks would come out of the intermission with some zeal, when Sly Fox would score on a one-timer from Neuwirth, and it would be all square at three. Dragon would retaliate with Sean Doyle's rocket from the point, after Big Ern and Jake "The Snake" Worby would feed him, then The Snake would whack in from Big Ern for 5-3. Thus Tusks would finish the period strong, with Aloise from Polach, and Neuwirth from Polak, bringing themselves back to even footing, now 5-5 going into the third. The shot totals would now be 30-20 Flaming Dragon II. The third period would see Dragon go ahead with The Snake from Lil 'Drew, but the deadlock would become 6-6 with Sly Fox's hat trick goal from Polak and Neuwirth. Dragon would then take control with Mishchenko unassisted, and Mitch Crenshaw from Captain Steve Osvold and Justin Waldron for 8-6, before the Tusks would pull their goalie for the extra attacker. The Tusks would then go on a power play after a Doyle high stick, but it would be Mitch Crenshaw completing his hat trick with a rare empty net short handed goal. Now 9-6, Sly Fox would score on the power play from Neuwirth and Ryan "Smash" Adams, but one more Mitch Crenshaw empty net goal would see out a 10-7 Flaming Dragon II win. the final shot totals would be 40-30 Flaming Dragon II. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Mitch Crenshaw (4G), Jake "The Snake" Worby (2G, 1A), and Ernie "Big Ern" Park (1G, 2A).
