The Sewer Rats, thanks to Boris Raizberg from Ivan Tukhtin, and Chris Mazza from Tukhtin, would take a 2-0 lead into the second period. In addition to their two goal lead, the Sewer Rats would have a two shot lead, 10-8, and both would be extended by one when Tukhtin would get into the goal column. Now down three, the Archers would need something, and fast, to get back in it, and would get a goal through Josh "Sumo" Sumoski, then would go on a power play after a hook to Ralph Bowen. A power play goal by Ben "King Ghidorah" Ghiano from Sumo would bring it to 3-2, but the Archers would quickly give that back when Evgeny Nikitin would go low from Ralph Bowen, who would make up for his penalty with an assist. At 4-2, the Sewer Rats would go into the third period ahead by that margin, and would now lead on shots at 22-15. The third period would be all Sewer Rats, who would put the game out of reach with goals by Mark Phelps, Tukhtin from Chris Mazza, and Tukhtin from Raizberg for 7-2, which would hold for the final, with the shot totals Sewer Rats 37, Archers 23. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Ivan Tukhtin (3G, 2A).
