The Archers would jump out to a 1-0 lead when Josh "Sumo" Sumoski would be on the end of a fantastic setup by Kyle Fischbach, but Mike Stapleton would equalize for The Clinic Club with a low wrister. On a scramble in front of The Clinic Club net, Greg "The Chairman Chierchie would finish from Jeff "Lamb Chop" Lamborn, and it would be2-1 Archers, which would hold going into the second period. The Archers would also lead on shots, at 10-7. The second period would begin with The Chairman unassisted for 3-1, but The Clinic Club would halve their deficit through Stephen Priest's goal when he would go high, and level it with Stapleton when he would go off the post and in. Now 3-3, the second period would end at that scoreline, with the shots 18-17 Archers. The goaltending of fill-in netminders Jason Fischbach of the Archers and Jeff Leidner of The Clinic Club would combine for zero goals against in the third period, which would force overtime, with the shots now 25-25. Along the way, Fischbach would make a left pad save on Stapleton, while Leidner would snare a puck with his glove from Sumo, as they would take over. But when overtime would come, a winner would be had when Dean Moakler would whack in a rebound after Sumo would be denied, and the Archers would win 4-3. The final shot totals would be 28-27 Archers, who would earn two points for their overtime win. The Clinic Club, would get on the board with one point for their overtime loss. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Greg "The Chairman" Chierchie (2G), and Josh Sumoski (1G, 1A).
