Ooff! would have a wonderful first period, which would end with them ahead 2-0. Those goals would come quickly through the play of Ed "The Giraffe" Jefferys on a low finish, and Jimmy DiPaolo, who would go high after the Giraffe and Michael Costello would help him after linking up before feeding him. The first period shot totals would be 10-7 Ooff!. Ooff! would begin the second period with a Ray Sarlo goal when he would go just under the bar, which would be followed by Jimmy DiPaolo's second goal. On the other end, Dean Bogner would be keeping Ooff! out with his glove and pads, and when the Giraffe would deke to his forehand and fire in another, Ooff! would go 5-0 up and would go into the third period ahead by that margin, and 22-15 on shots. In the third period, the Vudoos would quickly garner some momentum with a Mike Cenatiempo goal, then further close their gap with Mark Schwanda from Cenatiempo. Now 5-2, the Vudoos have a power play and would nearly trim it to 5-3, but would be denied by Bogner. That would be as close as the Vudoos would get, because DiPaolo would complete his hat trick from Gavin Costello, then Tommy "The Mayor" McNulty would add a goal for 7-3 Ooff!, which would be the final as the shot totals would end at 32-23 Ooff!. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Jimmy DiPaolo (3g) and Ed "The Giraffe" Jefferys (2G, 1A).
