The only goal of the first period would be Adam "Manhandle" Crandall unassisted for the Pterodactyls. On the other end, Jeff Leidner would stop all eight shots he would face, while Matt Rovetto would save 9/10. The second period would also have only one goal, but this one would be for the Biohazards with eight seconds left, when Greg "Turn Down for What" Ternlund would finish on a scramble in front of the Pterodactyls' net from John Lattanzio and Adam Cummings. Again, the goaltending would be nearly as good as it could, with Rovetto finishing with eight saves, and Leidner 9/10. With an early third period goal by Chris LaTourette from Ethan Lim, the Pterodactyls would go 2-1 up, but the rest of the game would be contentious because the goaltending would continue to be so fine. Leidner and Rovetto would flash more leather and prevent the other team from doing any damage, but eventually the Biohazards would have to pull Rovetto for the extra attacker. Instead of leveling it, the Biohazards would be dinged the other way, when Mark Weisman would bundle in a puck from the red line after Manhandle would help, and it would finish as a 3-1 Pterodactyls win. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Jeff Leidner (27/28 saves).
