The Swarm and Minotaur would play to a scoreless first period, but from there, it would be all Swarm, who would open the second period with a goal by Fadi Kirollos from Nick Volonnino. Ed Stulak from Frank "The Tank" Bason would bring it to 2-0, then Steve Romano from Volonnino and Beuk Forrest, and Steve Romano from The Tank would follow for 4-0. Romano would tally another, this time unassisted, when he would carve up the Minotaur defense with his shifty moves, before going high with a laser of a wrister for 5-0, which would be the Swarm lead going into the third period. The Swarm would enter the third period also ahead on shots, 30-16, and they would continue to pour in the goals: First it would be Stulak on a low finish, then Nick Pieron on a one-timer from Stulak, before Stulak would complete his hat trick from Volonnino. For good measure, Stulak would add a fourth goal for 9-0, which would be the final, in a profound Swarm win in which they would outshoot Minotaur 45-24. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Ed Stulak (4G, 1A).
