The Sewer Rats would jump out to 1-0 lead through Eric Vogt, then go 2-0 up wen Ivan Tukhtin would light the lamp. Greg "The Spider" Webster would make it 3-0 Rodents before the end of the first period, and that scoreline would hold going into the second, with the shot totals at 12-8 Sewer Rats. The second period would bring the first Vudoos' goal, Kurt Seidel unassisted, but Tukhtin would cancel that out with his second. Mike "Mikey Jr." Cenatiempo, Jr. would pull the Vudoos to 4-2 down, but the period would end with another Vogt goal, for 5-2 Sewer Rats, also leading on shots at 22-17. The third period would be where the Sewer Rats would put the game away; The Spider would score two in a row for a hat trick and 7-2. Seidel would add the next Vudoos goal, but John Chaddon and Tukhtin (for his hat trick goal), would round out the scoring in what would be a 9-3 Sewer Rats win, outshooting the Vudoos 33-26. The Statewide Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Greg "The Spider" Webster and Ivan Tukhtin (both with 3G).
