The Flying Dutchmen would go up when Myles Mitchell would finish from Christian "The Bumblebee" Larrabee, but the Tropics would equalize with Dion Yan high. Adam Rook from Justin Klein, and Rook unassisted would make it 3-1 Dutchmen, but the Tropics would halve their deficit on a laser from Kevin Morello, and level it with Peter Krzewinski. Now 3-3, the first period would end at that scoreline, with the shots 10-10. The second period would see the Tropics double up the Flying Dutchmen 6-3, for a 9-6 lead, and it would begin when John Bastardo would tally after a fancy move on a breakaway. NG "Nasty Goalscorer" Welsh would then add two goals, first from Tommy Fisher on a one-timer, then from Sam "The Kandyman" Kanda from just inside the blue line on a howitzer. Now with the Tropics up by three, Krzewinski from Bastardo would mean 7-3, but the Dutchmen would pull a goal back through Ryan "Silly" Hille. Krzewinski would then complete his hat trick unassisted, and Nasty Goalscorer Welsh would join him in the hat trick column. The Dutchmen would end the period with two consecutive goals, with Ryan "The Labrador" Labos and Eddie Boscaino, giving themselves an opportunity, now down 9-6 instead of 9-4, going into the third period. The shot totals would now be 27-23 Tropics. The thid period would begin with Nasty Goalscorer for his fourth goal, but the Dutchmen would hang in their with Silly Hille from Mitchell. 10-7 Tropics, it would be trimemd to 10-8 when Rook would register his hat trick goal from Mitchell and Klein, but the Tropics would quickly recover when Krzewinski would be on the end of a great setup by Morello, for 11-8. Krzewinski's fifth goal would come from Bastard and Morello, before Krzewinski would cap off a phenomenal performance with his sixth goal, for a 13-8 Tropics win. The final shot totals would be 45-40 Tropics. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match was won by Peter Krzewinski (6G), and NG "Nasty Goalscorer" Welsh (4G).
