The Bulldogs would attack in packs, and begin with a goal by Justin Letizia when he would go high from Mike Ciampi on an odd man rush. Letizia's laser, a pinpoint accurate effort, would be followed by Jonathan Greenspan going low from Letizia and Ciampi. Greenspan would then follow this by executing a fantastic move from Leltizia and McMullen, on a highlight reel finish, for 3-0 Bulldogs, which would hold for the first intermission. The shot totals would be 12-8 Bulldogs. The romp would continue with another period of three goals for the Bulldogs: Letiizia would kick off the scoring from Steve Parry and Ciampi, and Stephen Mancuso would rattle off the pipe and n from Anthony Ursino and Parry. Now 5-0, McMullen would increase it and ensure it would reach the second period at running time when Green span and Letizia would help him, and the Bulldogs would take a 6-0 lead into the final frame, also leading shots 22-14. The Bulldogs would go on a power play when Ray Sarlo would be assessed a hook and would make it count with McMullen from Letizia and Ciampi. The rest of the game would be mostly a non-event, but Ooff! would have a power play after an interference minor to Boris Zamolodchikov. A power play goal by Sarlo from Ed "The Giraffe" Jefferys and Jon "Das" Boot would follow, and it would now be 7-1. Chris Fagan and Jimmy DiPaolo from Sarlo would make the final scoreline closer with some goals, but at 7-3, the final would not really be as close as it would appear. The final shot totals would be 32-18 Bulldogs. The Stateside Tap + Tavern Man of the Match Award was won by Justin Letizia (2G, 4A).
