The first period would bring one goal, JC "Smiles" Stephanek unassisted for 1-0 Lux Interior. Neither team would be able to create too many chances, but eventually, Green Brook would fire back with Milton Solis on a laser from just inside the blue line. Now 1-1, Darren "Grizzle" Grzyb of Lux Interior would undo the deadlock, but it would not last for long, because Milton Solis would answer with his second goal of the game, for 2-2, which would be the scoreline after regulation. The back and forth contest would feature an exciting, but short overtime, which would conclude with Zach Ulloa from Andrew Bzdula, for a 3-2 overtime win.
