The Biohazards would strike first when Sean "Babyface" Feeney would hit the target, but Adam "Manhandle" Crandall would equalize for the Pterodactyls when he would go high, which would be followed by Joe Greco unassisted for 2-1 Biohazards. That would be all the scoring for the first period, as the Biohazards would not only double up the Pterodactyls on the score, but also on the shots, at 12-6.
In the second period, the Pterodactyls would go on a power play, when John Lattanzio would be punished for a hook. A power play goal, Gene Carrigan from Manhandle, would level it, but the Pterodactyls would fall behind again, when Babyface would go on the attack again, this time when he would finish from Matt Grunenthal. A late period goal by Adam "APA Format" Paradise-Asher from Manhandle would bring it to 3-3, which would hold for the intermission, with the shots now 22-14 in favor of the Biohazards.
