Playoffs: Team ODIN Win
The first game in PTAHL history would go the distance, needing not just the first or second overtime to decide a winner, but the shootout.
Mintoaur would begin with a Jeff Dugan goal, and it would take all the way until the third period, when Jason Fischbach would whack in a puck after Dave Fischbach won an offensive zone faceoff to Nichelle Simon, who would fire from the point and force a rebound. But Minotaur would immediately respond with another Dugan goal, forcing Team ODIN to pull their goalie for the extra attacker. It would pay off when Matt "Strawberry Milk" Skjeie would be there for 2-2, and it would hold for overtime.
All the way to the shootout it would go, and it would feature both clutch goals and saves, but Team ODIN would pull it out in a shootout which would feature more than the minimum of three shooters, for a historic 3-2 win.
