I don't think there has been a bigger domination in sports like there was with me in the box on Saturday. I've been lying on the couch in the dark, incoherently muttering sentences from a Ted Williams book on hitting. Food has no taste...the air is thick, stagnant....in short, i'm angry--like an old man trying to return soup at a deli....(seinfeld) I may check in to a "place of relaxation" to find myself--still wearing my saffron robe and mis-matched slippers. You couldn't just bring the heat. |

If I was in the outfield yesterday , I too would have gotten out of the way of those whizzing bullets...too much risk involved! And to think I even let Frank bunt for base hits! Frank, as much as this will crush you, is no longer available as the sacrificial lamb. Like most of the Titans, he is on his last leg and will probably be shot and made into glue, so as much as the offer intrigues us, we need to pass. There's not much more left in any of our tanks, so we'll go down in an orange blaze of glory. Looking forward to a fun battle, hope we can get 9 to the field Sunday. We're fading fast...... |

Actually just last week I put on my robe to see if I could pitch in it, unfortunately 3 out of the 4 times I came out of my tuck position my sandal would get caught on the bottom of my robe and I fell right on my ass. So scratch that idea. Plus it didnt look good with a baseball cap anyway. As for the head shaving, the Marlins have decided to take you up on that with one slight change. If the Titans win, you can shave off Jimmy Groves' hairdo instead on mine, right after the game at home plate. That mop on his head needs to go anyway. If the Marlins win, we get your nice bright orange uniforms and hockey socks...oh and we get Frank too! |

Not sure if you'll see Chris Brock, he may be throwing against the lugnuts tuesday (that's not a lack of respect statement, just a revenge game from giving them 5 unearned runs last time). We'll see. Also, we put the Hingle to Titan trade rumor to rest on our site....it shows that you have to do your research before you start with trade talks. See you guys saturday. I hear Dman will be wearing a saffron robe in lieu of the normal marlin uniform and has shaved himself bald (up top, we hope....don't need to know otherwise.....especially why). If that was done to itimidate us, it's working. We'll counter with our bright orange uniforms and hockey socks. If only i could find my visor........ |
