| GM William Patrick Patch May 12, 2009 3:33:13 PM Entry ID: 1623293 | Some more news of the day: Following the Mike D'Amico retirement, he stated that once the BRD retire his number then a Press Conference will be held at a future BRD event. Also on the heels of Mike's retirement, there are rumors of veteran Bobby Haas hanging them up also to play basketball instead! Joe Johnson wants number 17 after hearing rumors of Haas's retirement! Also there was almost a fight between assistant captains, Del and Duke, over the requirement of #8! Duke told me to let Del have it and he will stick with #44! No other number changes yet. Just Dave Comeau wants to wear 97! I'm still waiting to hear from people! |

The decision was easier this time as I just dont have that love to play weekly anymore. Its not fair to you guys if I dont show up to play, or Patch if he is trying to find a replacement when I dont come. Still give me call if you rent the floor on a Friday as I would request to line up against Mr Roberto (were dropping the gloves). I just want it to be known this decision has nothing to do with a decline in skills (im still cocky and confident in those). So last night the BRD's night was winding down and only a select few were left: Nick,Roberto, Tim and Mike McPherson, and myself. Mike M. was playing some pretty bad music and I told Tim I had some Beatles in the car. He said he only wanted to hear "Come Together". So I go to turn it on and everybody scatters. Nick ran to his car. Roberto disappeared! I still had a full beer left. It was ok though because my buddy Tim came over and gave me a hug! What a good kid! |

| Mai Tai McPherson May 10, 2009 1:18:11 PM Entry ID: 1621745 | Even though the loss was devastating, we did make somewhat of a comeback being down 5-0 to make it 5-4 they got a crap 6th goal, the refs wouldn't let us call a timeout with 2 minutes left when we had a 6-4 advantage due to a powerplay and a pulled goalie, and they got a crap empty netter from their own blue line. I also take much offense to the distracted by drinks reference. But all in all, I'll get over it, shift my focus to tomorrow night, and hopefully pull out a victory over the Iron Men...all because my blood runs Blueroom Devils. Good day gentlemen. |

I said dude you still have to beat us first before you even get that chance.Also glad to see the misfits took it on the chin from tnucs,lets take another option away from ray and jim by killing the iron men monday.KICK ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

He said he will be there Monday but not sure how much he could play or he might not play at all! He injured himself when he got a matching penalty in the second. He came off during a shift late in the 3rd in severe pain. He is hoping it will feel better on Monday. |

| Coach May 5, 2009 11:52:36 AM Entry ID: 1618520 | I want to give congrats to the BRD for their 5-2 victory over the Dark Knights. We didn't play as great as the first game but we got the win. Next up for the Devils is their arch enemy the Iron Men next Monday at 10pm! This will be the last time we play the Iron Men because they are leaving the wednesday night league. Lets send them packing with a loss! After the game, the BRD stayed to watch the next 2 playoff games except Bob and Carey. They had to go to Kowloon to meet up with Mike McPherson to watch the C's get killed! Thanks to Paul for taking over the website for Roberto who is enjoying his honeymoon. He texted me last night at midnight. He made it back safe! Rumors are flying around that the BRD does not want Roberto and Duke to play the next game because they have been winning! While you were gone Roberto, the other drunk Tim kept me company. I loved the truck Nick. Del was right, no class! |
