Congrats to the Reds on advancing past the first round of the playoffs. Thanks to some creative scheduling on old faithful Mr. Blevins. Very interesting how your team finished in the top 8 when the schedule was "re-organized" yet you played the worst competition. One of the other guys in the league did a little research as soon as you released the new schedule, and I think this is the appropriate time to share it: Out of the teams that are seeded 1-8 (Reds, Red Sox, Yankees, Titans, Lugnuts, Indians, Marlins, and Dodgers), here is the remaining records of the teams we all have to face. These are the combined records of the teams in our league as what they are in the standings today. I know a few wins and losses have not been added on yet to certain teams. But these are what they are as of 4/14/2008, at 6:27 on the website 1) Red Sox---- 63-40-4 (9 games against 28+/ 2 against 18+'s= 11 games left) 2) Yankees--- 62-40-9 (9 games against 28+/ 2 against 18+'s =11 games left) 3) Titans--- 48-30-3 (7 games against 28+/ 2 against 18+'s= 9 games left) 4) Lugnuts--- 71-49-5 (10 games against 28+/ 1 against 18+'s= 11 games left) 5) Indians--- 58-28-8 (9 games against 28+/ 2 against 18+'s= 11 games left) 6) Marlins--- 60-28-11 (8 games against 28+/ 1 against 18+'s= 9 games left) 7) Dodgers--- 48-29-5 (7 games against 28+/ 2 against 18+'s= 9 games left) ................................................................ AND THAT BRINGS US TO THE REDS AND THEIR REMAINING SCHEDULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8) The 28+ Orlando REDS who currently sit in the 7th position out of the top 8 teams. Remaining winning record of opponents......... 36-54-6 (8 games against 28+/ 2 against 18+= 10 games remaining) Their schedule has 3 games in May against the Outlaws, Pirates, and Barons---a combined 5-31-2. No games scheduled at all against the Yankees, Marlins, Red Sox and Indians---who are all in the top 8. Wasn't that the point of restructuring, the top 8 should play the top 8!!!! Instead he is finishing up with teams that are in the 9-16 group. Trust me, im not bitching. Im down for playing the good teams. But for the Reds, if you are not one of the best teams then you shouldn't make the playoffs. That goes for any teams. Dont tweak the schedule so your team is favored and may push one of the better teams out do to crappy scheduling. He preaches the rules on us, he should live by them as well. Rules state, the top 8 play the top 8---i dont see that at all. The best part is you clowns do not have a chance in a 3 game series agains any of the remaining teams. Good Luck Cheaters!
