As a mother to a girl on the A team......I am also glad/proud that the coaches also demand (as it should be) the respect that they give the girls....! Girls, please take advantage of the open gym at East Elite. This team could use alot more tumblers. Now would be the time to take those tumbling classes while your bodies are conditioned and stretched. I hope those that are already tumbling take advantage as well and advance your tumbling skills for next season. I miss everyone so much!!! |

November 24, 2009 10:20:54 PM Entry ID: 1735438 | I have read the comments in the guest book as well as the forum....and as a parent I am very proud of the girls, but I am also very please with the coaching staff. They have treated the girls fair and with dignity through out the season ~ they have been tough and demanding at times but always with the team’s best interest at heart. Coaches please know these girls are as good as they are because of you. They display great sportsmanship because of you. We hope to see all of you and the girls back next year or earlier if it works out. |

| Angie's Mom Billerica November 24, 2009 12:36:33 PM Entry ID: 1735170 | WOW.....it's hard to believe that the season is over this early...I won't get used to it....Because...next year you are going ALL THE WAY...!!! I was reading the "forum" and there were MANY people saying amazing things about "our" girls.....our CHAMPIONS! My eyes were filled with tears and my heart was overflowing! I am really proud of you all and how well you handled the loss! A true champion has to learn to lose like one too! Next year.......regaining our title!! It will be a powerhouse team....hope you all return.....! To the coaches: Thank you for your dedication , love and concern for our girls! What more could a parent ask for.....nothing! Great coaches, jr. coaches and an awesome team mom! I look forward to another awesome year with the Indians! This was a young intermediate team....hope the new girls realize it and come back for the "comeback"! Indians on TOP! |

| Coach Dianne November 23, 2009 2:41:27 PM Entry ID: 1734738 | And Another: I had the privilege of sitting next to the Billerica Indians on the mat on Saturday as the awards were being announced. I can tell you, I have NEVER seen a group of young competitors handle their disappointment better - Your parents and coaches should be proud of you all!! I was sitting next to one of their coaches at the d.j. table (we went on next) so I felt her pain when they had their difficulties - an injury during a stunt and the performance goes on - heartbreaking. I was also next to them on the mat at Nationals last year (they were small novice / we were large novice) and was able to feel some of their joy as the Champions that day. The Billerica Pop Warner program is a program to emmulate. Class act from top to bottom. So impressive!!! I am proud to be in the MVL with you. Sudbury Warriors!!!! |

The cheerleaders, coaching staff, volunteers, parents and fans, were TOP NOTCH on Saturday! The Winchendon Wolverines are truly honored to be amoung the likes of that team! I just wanted to give kudos to the Billerica Indians. What a great show of spirit and sportmanship. They accepted their 3rd place trophey with spirit and grace. It must have been very difficult for them but they showed all of us what cheering is really about. I am sorry that they are not going to Disney but I really cannot wait to see what they bring to the mat next year! I am sure they will bring it and then some and I also know that they will bring it with Class. BILLERICA INDIANS WHAT A CLASS ACT. YOU GO GIRLS :) |
