12U Team Iowa World Series Information

Congradulations 12U Team Iowa Softball on an outstanding season and welcome to the 2014 USSSA Fast Pitch World Series Tournament. The 8U/10U/12U C World Series Tournament will be held in Kansas City, Missouri. Games will be played at the Tiffany Hills Sports Complex and at Platte Ridge Sports Complex on July 16-19, 2014. This tournament will offer the following ages/divisions: 8 & Under Machine Pitch, 10 & Under C, and 12 & Under C. Additionally, many of these divisions will be split into American and National brackets.  The above banner is a link for additional information.

Gift Exchange
There will be a non-mandatory team gift exchange during one of your pool play games. Teams wishing to participate should bring something that is representative of their home area, the value of which is not important. It is recommended that teams bring a minimum of 16 gifts to exchange.

Admission
Spectator Admission is as follows: $10 per adult per day or $25 per adult for a tournament pass. For children ages 5-12 it is $5 per day or $12 for a tournament pass. Children 5 and under are free. This charge includes everyone except players and team coaches. A maximum of 3 coach passes and 20 player passes will be issued. Player passes will only be issued to those listed on the submitted roster, and only players in uniform will be allowed to enter on a player pass. CLICK HERE for more information on gate passes.


World Series Merchandise
USSSA World Series apparel and souvenirs, will be sold at the Opening Ceremonies and throughout the tournament.

The 15 & Under/18 & Under B World Series Tournament will be held in Des Moines, IA. Games will be played at Prairie Ridge Sports Complex (Ankeny) and Holiday Park (W. Des Moines) on July 28-Aug 2, 2014.  The above banner is a link for additional information.

The USSSA Fast Pitch program will use a 5-game guarantee format for this World Series Tournament. Teams will be seeded into pools based on current USSSA ranking points and play a round robin. All teams will be seeded into a double elimination championship bracket following pool play. Seeding will be based on pool finish. The exact format of the tournament, e.g., number of games, number of teams in each pool, etc., will be set by the tournament director following USSSA Fast Pitch guidelines as approved by the USSSA Fast Pitch National Committee.
