A Cup for Africa Mission (CAM) was co-founded by Ray Desmarais and Vedaste Ndamiye in 2009. CAM was officially recognized by the Government of Canada as a registered charity in October 2010 (Registration number: 854719259RR0001). Our first project was a sewing machine project for single mothers. Since that time, CAM has expanded its ministry and operates a full-time orphanage, a sewing program, a feeding program, and a sponsorship program. CAM is also registered with the government of Uganda. The charity is governed by a strong and committed board with members from many Christian denominations. Our board members include pastors, business men and others who volunteer their time and resources to change the lives of children in Uganda.
