Cup for Africa Mission (CAM) is committed to helping orphans—the most vulnerable of children—and their families, as well as other people in need. We strive to provide the basic necessities of food, shelter, water, and health care, and to foster their spiritual well-being. We meet these objectives through multiple projects including–among others–a unique child sponsorship program, the establishment of orphanages, and a feeding program.
Currently, we are operating one orphanage home in Uganda with 22 children from the streets, sending over 70 children to school through child sponsorship, and teaching single mothers the sewing skills they need to make dresses. So far, 45 widows have graduated from our sewing program and are earning money for themselves. Our feeding program feeds about 500 people every week. All of this great work has been done in the name of Jesus Christ through generous donations from individuals and churches in Canada and the United States.
