Cougars Finish Regular Season 47 - 4, Set Numerous Records

With a sweep of Rappahannock Community College on May 2nd, the Cougars finish the 2010 regular season with a 47-4 record, the 1st team in school history to win 40 or more games. In the process of compiling the best single-season record in school history, the 2010 Cougars have tied or broken 11 school records to date; congratulations team!

The Cougars defeated Allegany College of MD 9-4 for their 3rd Region XX title in 4 years, with 5 players named to the all-tournament team:

The Cougars advance to the Northeast District tournament against Lackawanna College for a best-of-3 series, with the winner advancing to the NJCAA Division II World Series in Enid, OK.

Cougars are Northeast District Champs, Head for World Series!

The Cougars defeated Lackawanna College 11-10 in 10 innings to claim the Northeast District crown; freshman Mike Hnatuck was named tournament MVP.
