HG Sports

Who We Are:
We are a sports ministry of Hickory Grove Baptist Church that focuses on connecting with the greater Charlotte area. We strive to uphold the church’s mission to EXALT CHRIST by sharing His story, to MAKE DISCIPLES through Biblical founded teaching, and to PASS THE TORCH through gospel-focused coaching.

What We Do:
We offer youth rec sports leagues in soccer, basketball, cheerleading, baseball, and softball for boys and girls 5-13 years old. Our coaches focus on developing physical skills within their sport while using coaching moments within the sport to develop Biblical character. For adults, we offer men’s and women’s softball for ages 16+. Adult leagues are open to both individuals, where you will be placed on a team. We also host two Golf Tournaments, one in the spring and one in the fall. 

When Are The Leagues:
Each sport operates during its own unique season. Soccer during the fall, basketball/cheerleading during the winter, and baseball/softball in the spring. Our adult softball league is in the summer. You can view more information about each sport by using the drop-down menu above.

Where Are Practices and Games:
For indoor sports, we practice at our two Church campuses; Harris Campus and Mallard Creek Campus. Harris Campus is located at 7200 E. WT Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC 28215. Mallard Creek Campus is located at 13200 Mallard Creek Road Charlotte, NC 28262. All games will be hosted at our Harris Campus, in the Family Life Center.

For outdoor sports, we practice at our two Church campuses; Harris Campus and Mallard Creek Campus. All games will be hosted at our Mallard Creek Campus Fields.
