COACH WHITE

Founder & Program Director – YouthNMotion Basketball

Originally from New York City, Coach Adrian White began his coaching journey after relocating to Virginia in 1998 to attend Norfolk State University. It was there that he discovered his passion for developing young athletes, leading to the creation of the YouthNMotion Basketball Program.

With over 15 years of impact, YNM has grown into a nationally recognized sports and enrichment organization dedicated to developing complete student-athletes. The program is built on a foundation of discipline, accountability, and a winning mindset—preparing athletes to excel both on the court and in life.

YNM Basketball has earned recognition from the Boys & Girls Clubs, multiple middle and high schools for academic support initiatives, and city leadership for outstanding community impact. The program has successfully competed on major platforms including YBOA, AAU, Gravity Showcase, and USN, consistently performing at a high level.

Driven by a commitment to excellence, YNM has captured multiple National Championships (2009, 2011, 2012, 2015), solidifying its reputation as a competitive and respected program in Travel basketball.

Now expanding into Gaithersburg Maryland, Coach White continues to build a culture centered on elite development, education, and long-term success—on and off the court.

Coach Jerika Magwood

Jerika Magwood is a Charleston, South Carolina native and a proud product of Baptist Hill High School, where she made her mark as a dynamic floor general at the point guard position. Known early for her toughness, court vision, and leadership, she set the tone every time she stepped on the floor.

She continued her basketball journey at Clinton College in Rock Hill, SC (2015–2017), where her game elevated to another level. Transitioning from guard to forward, Jerika proved she’s the definition of a true competitor—versatile, physical, and relentless. Whether attacking the rim, locking down defensively, or controlling the tempo, she brought an edge that opponents had to respect every possession.

Now based in Maryland and serving as Active Guard Reserve (AGR) in Rockville, Coach Magwood brings that same discipline, grit, and high-level mindset to the next generation. Her military background, combined with her multi-position playing experience, makes her a high-impact coach who demands excellence and develops complete players.

Coach Magwood isn’t just teaching the game—she’s building tough, confident, and battle-tested athletes ready to compete at the highest level.
