The American Legion Riders Membership Requirements


The membership requirements for the American Legion Riders are very straightforward. To become a Member, you must...


...be a current member in good standing of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or Sons of the American Legion.
...be the owner of a motorcycle of at least 350cc engine displacement and must possess a valid driver's license in your state of residence (military equivalents acceptable as well) ~or~ must be the legal spouse of an ALR member in good standing within the Chapter of application.

To be a Supporting Member you must...

...be a current member in good standing of the American Legion, American legion Auxillary, or Sons of the American Legion.

Supporting Members cannot vote during elections.

 

Membership is free.

 

Application forms will be posted on this site and are available at the Post. Membership forms are required every year in January. Filling out the application should:

Print information clearly

Complete all blocks and use N/A where applicable

Signatures in areas indicated

If possible, attach a copy of your Post 11 membership card or Rider's current membership card when submitting the application

Applications can be brought to a Rider's meeting, mailed to Jeannie Wahl, 8425 Edgewood Church Road, Frederick, MD 21702 or emailed to the address below.

 

Meetings are held at the Post, 1st Thursday of the month promptly at 1900 hours.
