What is the Board of Directors?

The Bridgewater Baseball Association is a non-profit kid's sports organization registered with the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stocks. In order to remain as a viable organization under this umbrella, the association must have a Board of Directors. The Board is made up of 4 executive members and several members at large.  These members also make up several committees such as communications, equipment, house league, rep league, canteen and others as needed.

The board meets regularly throughout the year to plan and organize programming and communicate with parents, media, the general community regarding programming and the upcoming season and hire summer staff.

Nominations for the board members and elections for the executive take place at the Annual General Meeting each fall.  Any parent club members are eligible to be nominated for board positions.
