The Four Towns Community Center offers youth basketball programs for K - 6th Graders.  Our goal is to teach kids fundamental basketball skills, the basic concepts of competitive play and most importantly good sportsmanship and teamwork .  We utilize the South Seneca Central School gyms in Interlaken and Ovid for practices and games.  Our coaches are all volunteers and we welcome parent help (especially for Bitty Ball).  We offer the following programs:

 

Bitty Ball registration will be in November/December.  The program consists of 4-5 Saturday morning sessions typically offered in January/February.  In these sessions the kids will learn dribbling, shooting, passing and some defense.  Although there are no competitive games, the coaches will try to offer some scrimmaging to have the kids get the feel of the game.  

 

  

 

 

Travel Basketball registration will be in October  We offer a 3/4 grade team and 5/6 grade team for the boys and the girls.  Both age groups will travel however 3/4 grade teams will have a slightly less intense schedule than the 5/6 grade teams.  Parents will be responsible to transport kids to at least two practices a week and weekend games.  Games will be on Saturdays and Sundays and travel time to games can range for 30- 60 minutes.
