Skowhegan Teams Sweep District 5 Tounaments
Congratulations to the Skowhegan 12 & Under and 10 & Under Teams who each won their respective Tournaments over this past weekend. (You can find all Game Results in the ‘Main Menu’ to the left).
Good luck to the Skowhegan teams as they move on to the State Tournaments starting on July 9th.
More info will follow on all the State Tournaments including the 11U & 9U Teams who start the week after the 12 & 10’s

Summary: After a 90 minute rain delay to start the game, Japan captured the 2011 Cal Ripken World Series crown with a 7-0 shutout victory over the Ohio Valley Regional Champions from Southeastern Lexington, KY. This is the first time Japan has won the title since the Cal Ripken World Series has been held at the Ripken Youth Baseball Academy, which began in 2003.
