Become A Volunteer Coach!
Our league can not exist without the volunteers to help coach the teams. You will have an opportunity to become involved in a very organized youth sports program that will benefit the kids, as well as be a lot of fun for the parents and families.
You can volunteer as:
• Head Coach
• Assistant Coach
• Team Helper
However, unlike many other youth sports programs our volunteer coaches require minimal time commitment.
Because FGS Sports leagues do not have any drafts, tryouts, or mandatory practice commitments, coaches would be simply volunteering on game day, while team helpers would assist with the brief communication to the parents of the players.
The FGS Sports program director is responsible for everything else. From putting the kids on teams, to setting schedules, to issuing rosters and directions to the games, we make it easy to volunteer and respect your time.
As a Coach, you will have special access to an area of the website to enter game results, player statistics, news articles on your team, and more.
All coaches are subject to a background check prior to the season. If you are interested in volunteering, please select the type of volunteer you wish during the online registration process.
Pending acceptance, you will be asked to complete an online certification exam and attend (1) coaches meeting prior to the season.
