Matty Ice Wins Back to Back MVP's

March 24, 2016

Matt Eisenberg Repeats as the 2015 Fall League Most Valuable Player and was Awarded his 2nd Plaque at the Washington County Hall of Fame Banquet in January. Playing Quarterback and Defensive Specialist, Matt lead his Team to a Perfect Regular Season and the X-Dawgs returned to the 2015 Fall League Championship Game. Although they came up just short of a 5th League Championship, Matt and the X-Dawgs were able to Win the "B" Bracket of the Mason Dixon Invitational Tournament at Fairgrounds Park in Hagerstown, MD in November. Congratulations Matt Eisenberg!

Tom Hoffman Wins Dirt Ball Award

Tom Hoffman from Broad Axe was presented the 1st Annual Dirt Ball Award at the Hall of Fame Banquet in January. The Dirt Ball Award is given to the League's Linebacker, Defensive Lineman, or Offensive Lineman of the Year. Tom plays Center for the Broad Axe Team that has Won 4 Consecutive Fall League Championships and is the Defending Spring League Champion.

Eisenberg has been the Quarterback, Defensive Back and Inspirational Leader of the X-Dawgs since entering the League 7 Seasons ago. He Played a Key Role in their Team Winning 4 Championships in a Row.
