Registration on-line at www.winfieldbaseball.org or IN-PERSON at South Carroll High School Lobby  per online schedule.  Registration period for Spring starts in November.   Registration for Fall starts in July/August

Brief description

Winfield Baseball is a nonprofit coed baseball association located in Winfield, Maryland for over 50 years. All players receive a baseball uniform with hat.

Our age groups begin with our Instructional Level based at the Winfield Lions Club fields.  Players age 6 and under, begin learning baseball in this age group.  Open to coed players, teaching the FUNdamentals of baseball with machine pitch and t-ball.  One weekday game and one Saturday game during the spring season.  Games typically are around 1 hour  with teams of approximately 6-7 players per team.

Players age 7-12 play in the Frederick Cal Ripken Recreation League.  (Recreation level play)  Recreational baseball offers children ages 7-12 the opportunity to learn the rules, skills and strategies of the Great American Pastime.

The 7-8 age group is machine pitch this is a Recreation Level travel league. Games will be against other teams in the Carroll and Frederick County FCCRL league.  One weekday game and one Saturday game.  

The 9-10 age group and the 11-12 age group are player pitch teams in a recreational level travel league. Games will be against other teams in the Carroll and Frederick County FCCRL league.  One weekday game and one Saturday game.

Players age 13-18 play in the Frederick County (FCBRL) Babe Ruth League.   There are two age groups;  13-15 and 16-18 in two levels of play.  Games will be against other teams in the Carroll and Frederick County Babe Ruth league. These teams typically have one weekday game and a  game on the weekend.

There is also the opportunity to play on various full time travel teams at different levels.

Winfield Baseball depends on corporate and private sponsorship in order to keep our expenses down and pay for improvements to equipment and the fields.  If you know someone who would like to sponsor our organization or if you would like to sponsor our organization,  sponsorship forms are available on our website.
