***All Home meets will be swam at Wilson Middle School. If a meet is Away, the pool location will be written on the sign up sheet for that meet. Directions to Away pools can be found under Schedules ---> Pool Locations.***

If for any reason your swimmer is signed up for a meet and cannot attend (sick, appointment, etc.) please send a message through our email so our coaches can make the necessary changes.

Meet Sign Up Info and Procedures:
About a week before each meet, swimmers will be able to sign up for each duel meet at the pool where practice is held.  The sign up sheets are located on the balcony table near the whiteboard.

At The Meet:
All warm ups are at 5:30 and all meets start at 6:00 PM so please plan accordingly. Swimmers should report to the pool at least 15 minutes before the meet warm up begins. Swimmers may use the locker rooms to change but then should bring their belongings back onto the deck unless they bring a lock to secure their items. In most cases, swimmers will typically swim two individual events and two relay events at each meet. Two strokes are picked for the swim meets, for example, our meets consist of freestyle/backstroke and your swimmer will swim one event each of the stroke listed and then, if there are enough swimmers, they will be put into relays.

Meet Uniform:
We do not have/require team suits but a jammer or brief style swimsuit (for boys) and a one piece swimsuit (for girls) is recommended by our coaches for efficient swimming. We would prefer that you wear one of our team caps at meets so that it is easier to pick out who is on our team whilst swimming and shows that we are a part of something bigger. We want our swimmers to be comfortable while their swimming but we also want to have camaraderie throughout our team.

After the Meet:
Please have your swimmer(s) acquire verbal confirmation from a coach before they are allowed to leave the swim meet unless it is an emergency. Based upon your swimmers time, they will receive a ribbon based on what place they got in their event, not heat. The following week, have your swimmer(s) check their folder which will be located under our whiteboard (where you enter the pool). Ribbons as well as events/activities flyers that are happening soon will be in the folders.

Parent/Family Volunteers & Donations:
Parent/Family volunteers are an absolute necessity when it comes to, not only running our swim meets, but our entire season as well. At swim meets, volunteer postions consist of timers, ribbon writing, running cards to and from the timers to the writers. We have a SignUp genius that allows for easy sign up. We are all aware that everyone is busy but if you could make time for just 1 meet, it would be immensly appreciated.
