There is a new Summer AAA Champion. The Sneaky Weasels' attempt to repeat was thwarted by the pitching styling of the Falls Church Barons' Carlton, who tossed 8 scoreless innings en route to a Barons 6-0 win. In contrast to previous games in this series when scoring started early, the Barons and Weasels were scoreless through the first four innings. In the fifth the Barons got the only run they were to need when a Sacrifice fly from Caylor put them up 1-0. Then in the sixth, the Barons did the rest of the night's scoring. Mardeusz' bases loaded triple was the key to a big inning that ended with the Barons up by what would be the final 6-0 score. White relived Davis in the 9th and struck out the side to clinch the championship for the Barons.

The Barons have made DC Wood History by being the first team to win both a AA title (2008) and a AAA title (2012). 8 players from that AA team also played in AAA championship season.
