What Others are Saying About LPA Baseball
 At LPA Baseball, we:
-Provide pitching instruction to players of all ages and skill levels
-Believe that personal recommendations are the best way to promote the pitching instruction that we provide.
-Will provide each athlete with proper knowledge in order for them to
    maximize their potential.

Here's what a few of the professionals and parents are saying about LPA Baseball...

Terry Ryan - General Manager of the Minnesota Twins
"If your children want to learn the basics of the game of baseball, I encourage them to attend a baseball clinic run by Erik Lovdahl and his staff. They are organized and knowledgeable, plus they run a detailed, educational camp that benefits players both on and off the field."

Dave Hieb - Head Baseball Coach, Northwestern College
"Erik has a tremendous reputation as a pitching expert throughout college baseball programs in the Twin Cities. He has special skill in teaching not only the skills of pitching, but the importance of hard work and dedication which is needed for pitching success. You will be pleased with your results."

Mark and Beth Kimball
"All three of our boys have benefited greatly from working with Coach Lovdahl. He has helped build and refine all aspects of our boys' skills, including fundamentals, mechanics, and their mental approach to the game. He gets them ready to perform at their best in tryouts and in games."

Tom Green and Ron Wetzel - Authors of The Baseball Player's Handbook
"When it comes to pitching or throwing mechanics, Erik Lovdahl is a premier instructor. His knowledge base, ability to instruct, and connection with players is excellent. We have him work with our pitchers a few times during the season. Erik is who we send our own sons to when they need individual work, We could not recommend him more highly."

Steve Voss - Forest Lake Traveling Baseball Coach and Board Member
"Since starting his training with Erik, my son not only learned how to pitch, but learned how to be a pitcher. Erik teaches how to deal with the stress of being a pitcher, how to properly train and condition so he can be a pitcher for many years, and how to enjoy being a pitcher.

Erik's teaching methods with the kids is great. He relates to them at their level, and the players respond with respect and enthusiasm for the game. Just as with the Twins, Erik follows the philosophy of playing the game the right way by being a complete player - on and off the field. My son will be training with Erik for many years to come."

Eagan Traveling Baseball
"Erik has worked the past two years in the Eagan Baseball Clinic making presentations to a wide variety of players at different ages. His patience and ability to relate to all skill levels and improve their play has positively affected our association. Parents were extremely pleased with the program Erik presented and with the success of their sons. The fact that Erik has been invited back, and hopefully becomes a mainstay in this program, is attributed to his ability to teach quality pitching skills"

Chris Lewis - Father of athlete
"My 12 year-old son began working with Erik a couple years ago. Albeit ?pitching? is Erik?s specialty, what we quickly found out is that Erik is not just a pitching coach. If your child wants to learn how to throw and catch properly (regardless of position) and become a better conditioned athlete, than I can think of no finer instructor/trainer than Erik. Erik stresses using the legs and body when throwing and getting in front of the ball and actively receiving the ball with two hands when catching. He is relentless in his message toward kids that they should throw from over-the-top and aim their body ?sideways? toward their target to lessen stress on the arm/shoulder/elbow and reduce chance of injury. He also incorporates strength and conditioning drills into each session. Erik frequently brings new tips and drills directly from the professional and collegiate ranks and attends multiple coaching clinics and injury prevention seminars each year in his quest to stay current and on the leading edge. More importantly, it is obvious that Erik truly cares about the physical, mental and emotional well-being of each of his students. He treats his students with respect and care and gets to know them on an individual basis and reinforces the values of family, faith, hard work, academics, character and responsibility. ?High GPA, low ERA? is one of his mottos. Erik is much more than a pitching coach, he is a life coach.

I can honestly say he is like a second father."

Steve Mahoney - Father of high school player
"Erik knows his stuff! He breaks everything down in bite-size pieces, puts it back together, and then focuses on the strategy of the game. He was very encouraging and helpful to my son, Ryan."
