Cheer Attendance Policy

Cheering is a team sport and the cheerleaders spend a lot of time and energy practicing for both games & competitions.  Missed practices hurt the team and the cheerleaders who show up to practice.  Please be sure both you & your cheerleader understand the commitment.

Cheerleaders are expected to be at every practice in August. This is when they start learning the fundamentals and game cheers. We ask that cheerleaders do not miss more than 3 practices, unless medically necessary.

Once September/October practices begin, we ask that cheerleaders do not miss more than 3 practices for the remainder of the season. It is unfair to the team and your child if they cannot learn their competition routine.

If your cheerleader is consistently missing practices they will need to sit out at a game.

*   Does not include medical exclusion as documented by a healthcare professional.
