Game 1 vs Lancaster Depew Storm
The Longhorns started off the tournament with a bang. After a 1-1 tie in the first, the Longhorns took control of the game with a Joe Greco bases clearing 3 rbi double in the second, followed by a three run homerun by Thomas Theoderou and in the 5th back to back to back homeruns from Trevor Fagan, Miles Kelly and Ben Brown followed by hits from Thomas Theoderou, Kareem Holloway, a walk from Dan McKenna, Jake Sheridan and Joe Greco making it a 14-3 final.

Game 2 vs PAL Yonkers Panthers
At this point the Longhorns had not yet found their stride. After a convincing win over a good team the team seemed to overlook a solid team from Yonkers. The Longhorns took an early lead in the first scoring one run while stranding three runners. The Panthers scored 2 runs in the second on a homerun. The Longhorns answered back with a solo homerun from Kareem Holloway in the 2nd. Back to back hits in the 3rd gave Yonkers a 3-2 lead. 12 runners were stranded for the Longhorns throughout the game as they had 12 hits but only 4 runs to show for it. Three line drives were smoked right at either the pitcher or third basemen to which the panther defense made great plays on. The Longhorns dropped this one in the bottom of the 6th on a force balk 5-4. It was a tough one to swallow but this was the wake up call we needed.
Pitching-
Jake Sheridan 3 1/3 innings 9 k's, 4 hits, 4 earned

Game 3 vs SL Bomberz
Another tough one for the Longhorns Baseball Club. An excellent pitching performance from Eli Fishman kept the team up big but four errors in the fifth led to a huge comeback from the Bomberz and ultimately a loss for the Longhorns. Extra outs cannot be given to a good team as they will always capitalize. A game that ended 12-11 on a walkoff homerun started off as for the first 4 1/2 innings the Longhorns led 7-1. Good game by both teams but we had our opportunities to get out of the bottom of the fifth.
