Ball Hockey Program (All Ages)

This is a 10 week program program focused on being active, meeting people, having fun and playing. The program runs for ages 4 to adults one night per week. Age groups 5 and under play for 30 minutes each week, while ages 6 and older play for 50 minutes each week.
Ages 7 and younger time is divided up into learning the rules, learning and practicing the skills to play and srimmage time. Each session starts wth a warm up followed by drills to develope running, stick handling and passing and to finish each week players are divided into teams and play scrimmages. Teams are divide differently each week. There are no official games or travel.
Ages groups 8-9 and 10-11 each week starts with a warm up followed by timed scrimmages. Teams are divided up and play 15-20 minute scrimages and then switch oponents. We aim to have enough player to make 2-6 teams and have games run cross width on the rink surface to make 2- 3 different games at the same time. Teams are divided differently each week. There is no official games or travel.
Age groups 12 and older each week will have a warm up and the be divded into 2 teams and run a scrimmage with either 15-20 minute periods. Teams are divided differently each week. There are no official games or travel.
Equipment Needed:
Hockey helmet with full facemask,
hockey stick,
hockey gloves
athletic clothes,
running shoes,
shin pads (optional but recommended)
Water bottle (with name on it)
