Here is a message I received from Coach Vergalito regarding the Red and Black Elite travel team. 

 

All Red and Black Youth Parents and Players,

 

  I am extremely proud of all of our Red and Black Youth teams for such a great summer of lacrosse. Every player improved and worked extremely hard throughout the Red and Black summer season!  Thank You for your commitment and loyalty to Red and Black as we build these young men into future great players and great teams for Hunterdon Central down the road!!

 

  I know there have been rumors and talk of Red and Black merging with Bridgewater and going in a different direction. I want to make it very clear that it is NOT true. Red and Black youth teams will be staying in tact and continuing to build and work with our future Hunterdon Central lacrosse players.

 

  Be proud to know that we have one of, if not the best youth programs in the State of NJ and we will continue to grow and build this summer Red and Black program! As the Head coach of Hunterdon Central I am extremely proud to have our community United in lacrosse and moving forward in a great direction. 

 

  I am going to make a change that I feel is needed for our Youth Red and Black program. I am going to have a communications officer be in charge of getting information out to everyone all year around, and keep everyone informed as to what is coming up and what is ahead! We have had huge growth in the game of lacrosse, and we are growing in our community as well. We will be communicating what Fall and Winter opportunities that are ahead and our summer of 2014 Red and Black tryout dates as well. We are very excited about the future and we are looking forward to providing lacrosse opportunities all year around.
