The cost is $50 for elementary students and $100 for middle school students.  We still have open spots for middle school, but registration is closed for the elementary class. If you would like to receive an email next year when we open registration, send an email to apmoore@austin.rr.com To register for middle school, send an email to Pat Moore (apmoore@austin.rr.com) and include with your child's name and grade.  Follow the instructions below to get a USA wrestling card and then bring a check made out to Heart and Pride Wrestling to the first practice on Nov. 7th.

Trojan Heart and Pride is the North Austin location of Heart and Pride Wrestling.  Heart and Pride Wrestling will also continue to operate out of our Leander facility at 190 North Bagdad Rd, Leander, TX 78641

Note: The first practice will now be Thursday, November 7th instead of Tuesday, November 5th because of the election and school closures!

Practice is every Tuesday and Thursday at the Anderson Dance/Wrestling gym  Elementary school practice is 6pm to 7pm and middle school practice is 7pm to 8:30pm.

Everyone (2nd-8th) must also sign up for a USA wrestling card before the first practice. The cost is $55. This card allows you to compete in any USA Wrestling certified competion and also provides insurance benefits in your USA Wrestling certified practice.  Check the information below for detailed instructions about signing up for the card.

Middle School practice (6-8th grade) will run from Nov. 5 through the State Tournament in the middle of February.

Elementary School practice is an Introduction to Wrestling course and will begin Nov. 7th and last through the end of school in December. 

Instructions for signing up for your USA Wrestling card:

For new wrestlers:

  1. Go to this url: https://www.usawmembership.com
  2. Click the create free account button (This free account will be in a parent's name!)
  3. You can then create a profile for your wrestler(s)
  4. Purchase the membership for the profile you created!  You can see a video here: https://www.usawmembership.com/help/category/3/question/14

For returning wrestlers:

  1. Go to this url: https://www.usawmembership.com
  2. Log in to your parent account.
  3. You should see the previously created profile for your wrestler(s).
  4. Click the renew membership button, and purchase!
