What is the GASPL?

 

  • GASPL stands for the Glen Abbey Slo-Pitch League, a Men's slo-pitch league located in Oakville for adults.

 

What is the average age of the league members?

  • Most members are in the range of 19 to 55 years of age.

 

What are the rules for the league?

  • The league uses the Slo-Pitch National rules and regulations except for a few exceptions. Click here to view our rules & By-Laws.

 

Does the league have umpires?

  • GASPL uses umpires that Slo-Pitch National cards. Each of the games has one umpire.

 

Does the league use a mat?

  • Yes

 

How many games do you play in a year?

  • The amount of games varies slightly from year to year based on the number of teams in the league. Over the past few years, we have played approximately 20 games in a season and then playoff games.

 

What night of the week are your games?

  • Most games are scheduled for Sunday afternoon/evening for COED & Sunday/Monday evenings for Men's.
  • We do not schedule games on long weekends.

  • Games are played @ the Glenashton diamonds in Oakville. Directions can be found in the Diamond section of this website
