Goal Miners Hockey

For over 30 years, players have looked to start the weekend off right with a little friendly pickup skate every Saturday morning. Originally in Gardener, then Fitchburg, and finally at Cushing Academy, this pickup session has seen hundreds of skaters over the years and tons of fun. In fact, the Goal Miners Wednesday Hockey League was created by folks playing Saturday Morning pickup. Every Saturday, all year long, the rink opens at 6 AM or a little before and the ice ends at 8 AM . . . and only $15! Attendance has been up and down lately and we are looking for more regulars.
