Wolfpack - Travel Competitive Teams

FYF Wolfpack is a non-profit, youth football and cheer program located in Fauquier County Virginia, affiliated with the Northern Virginia American Youth Football Alliance (NOVA) and a member of American Youth Football (AYF).

Our mission is to develop well-rounded young men and women who learn not only the fundamentals of football and cheerleading but also the importance of education in an atmosphere conducive to developing sound character while having a good time.

For players to enjoy and take part in football, we will ensure that they are encouraged to:

  • Take an active part in the sport
  • Form relationships and work together
  • Develop their skills and improve over time
  • Be able to take part whatever their ability
  • Develop personal skills in key areas; Technical, Physical and Social
  • Appreciate and demonstrate a good sporting attitude
  • Understand the rules of the game
  • Be listened to and valued as a member of Wolfpack
  • Be positive about themselves and others

FYF Wolfpack relies on excellent coaching to help ensure each player works hard, plays safe, exhibits exceptional sportsmanship, learns the game of football and has a great experience.  Our program's philosophy is that athletics and scholastics go hand in hand so we stress good grades, sportsmanship and the concept of working hard to reach goals and be successful.

No Child is turned away from our league, we are a Fauquier based program.

SAFETY: The FYF program emphasizes player safety. At every practice or game, a person qualified to administer first aid will be present. Before any player participates in physical contact drills against another player, he will have had 1 week of intensive physical conditioning. At each practice and before each game, he will go through a thorough routine of stretching and warming up exercises. Before he ever takes the field in a game, he will have had over 30 hours of vigorous training and conditioning. When he plays, his games will be officiated by registered football officials.

Players must condition for 5 days prior to receiving football equipment. Equipment is only issued after a completed registration form with payment is received by FYF. A parent or guardian must accompany the player and sign documentation to receive equipment with a $200 deposit. This equipment must be returned to FYF at the season's end and the deposit is then returned to parent or guardian.
