TO THE PROS
Green Valley Baseball is the most challenging high school program in the state. By the time a Green Valley player takes the field, he has spent countless hours preparing for every possible offensive and defensive situation. It is a demanding, grueling, and competitive program. Green Valley Baseball is a disciplined way of life. Those athletes who commit themselves to this rigorous program, who accept the challenge to not only participate, but to excel, often find meaningful career opportunities for themselves.
Because of the tremendous success of this program, Green Valley High School attracts interest from many college and professional teams. In past years, Green Valley has found itself ranked nationally, and this, too, has brought a certain level of attention and expectation.
Green Valley Baseball has built a tradition rich in the level of skill required of its athletes, rich in the competitive spirit required of its athletes, rich in the level of mental and physical preparation required of its athletes, and rich in the amount of pride involved in representing school, family, and self.
It comes as no surprise that a number of alumni players have been drafted into the professional ranks as a direct result of the success they have attained at Green Valley High School. These young men made the most of their high school experience. Let it be said that hard work still pays off.
We are extremely proud of the accomplishments of each athlete that has gone into the professional ranks of baseball. We believe the good foundation that Green Valley Baseball has provided will continue to serve them well throughout their professional careers.
