18U A Tri-County Rangers win Port Hawkesbury Tournament
Congratulations to the 18U A Tri-County Rangers who won the Port Hawkesbury 18U A tournament this past weekend. The Rangers advanced to play Dartmouth in the semi-finals then moved on to beat Richmond in the gold medal game.
11U A Tri-County Rangers Win Bob Donahoe Tournament in NB
Congratulations to the 11U A Tri-County Rangers who won the annual Bob Donahoe Tournament in Riverview New Brunswick on July 16th. The Rangers went 4-1 in the tournament and beat Hants North in the finals to win it.?
15U AAA Tri-County Rangers win Bedford Days Tournament
Congratulations to the 15U AAA Tri-County Rangers for winning the 2023 Bedford Days Baseball Tournament on Sunday June 25th. This year’s tournament also included teams from Halifax, Hammonds Plains, Kentville and two teams from Prince Edward Island. After going 2-1 to begin the tournament, the Rangers capped off a thrilling come from behind, extra inning 5-4 win over the Summerside Chevys to advance to the finals against the Mid Isle Mustangs. In the finals, the Rangers jumped ahead 2-0 in the third inning but fell behind as the Mustangs scored 3 in the bottom of the fourth inning. Not to be outdone, the Rangers found a way to score 2 runs in the top of the sixth inning and held on for a 4-3 victory to win the tournament.
18U AAA Tri-County Rangers going to Nationals in Alberta
Congratulations to the 18U AAA Tri-County Rangers who won the 18U National Elimination tournament July 9th. The tournament featured teams from all across Nova Scotia. The Rangers' offense was unstoppable as they scored 39 runs during the weekend but allowed only 3. They will be headed to Fort McMurray Alberta August 17-20 for the National Championships.
TriCounty Rangers 13UAA Team wins Provincials
Congratulations to the TriCounty Rangers 13U AA team for winning the 2022 13U AA Tier 2 Provincial Championship!
On Friday, TriCounty lost their first game of the tournament to Hants North 12-7. However, on Saturday they rebounded, winning both their games, beating Halifax 13-8, and Clark's Harbour 14-4. On Sunday, they continued their winning ways, beating Hammonds Plains 18-8, earning a bye into the Championship game, where they defeated Hants North 20-9.
