Q: Do I have to have football experience to play?

A: NO, you don't have to have experience in order to play. However, The Bulldogs are looking for guys that have heart and love for the game and 100% team commitment. As long as you have the ability for the coach to teach you and you have the quickness to learn, no experience is needed.

Q: Do you pay the players?


A: NO, Arlington Bulldogs abide by the UIL eligibility rules, therefore we are unable to pay players at this time.


Q: Is there a cost to join the team?


A: YES, other then the $ 25.00 try-out fee, the player fee is $260.00. The $260.00 covers apparel, your game day insurance, cost of cleaning for the uniform you will be wearing each game during the season, as well as help cover the cost of any damage to the jersey you are wearing. We do understand the economy is hard right now and if you are unable to pay the full fee, we do have payment options as well as sponsorship packages to help you. Do not allow the price to keep you from your dream!


Q: How many times do we practice and for how long?

A: Football practice is schedule 4 times per week not including Saturdays which attendance is MANDATORY for games. Practice days will be based on the coaching staff and you will be given a schedule once you make the team. Practice time during the week will be scheduled after 6:00 pm. 

Q: What Do I need?

A: Other then your $260.00 players fee, you will need to purchase: a helmet; shoulder pads, practice jersey, black baseball socks and purple baseball socks and black practice pants as well as black cleats and whatever else you feel you need for football. NO TINTED VISORS ALLOWED WITH OUT DOCTORS NOTE!
