CYW Board Members

Co-Director: Dana Dulong

Dana is involved with many of the Chelmsford Youth Sports Programs in town. He coaches both of his children in multiple sports including, football, basketball, softball and lacrosse. Dana graduated from UMass with a degree in Child Psychology but went down a different professional path and now owns two businesses. Dana's love for children and sports has led him to not only coach, but to mentor many children. His goal with the youth wrestling program is to teach the children to be strong mentally and physically and to never give up. Dana wrestled and won the youth states as an eighth grader, but then went on to a private high school that did not offer the sport. He continued to play football and baseball in high school and then continued his football career in college. He also boxed in his twenties and trained at the West End Gym in Lowell. Coach Dana is all about being positive and teaching these kids that when they get knocked down, they need to stand back up. This is a lesson that will help them throughout life!

Ever since his son started pre-school, Greg has been involved in the youth sports programs in Chelmsford. He has coached and volunteered in youth sports in town for many years.  He is currently an assistant coach for Pop Warner U10 and joined the board of directors earlier this year.  Although his son is still in middle, Greg also serves on and supports the Chelmsford All Sports Boosters. Greg's son joined the wrestling program in 2016. At that time, Greg volunteered to help with the youth wrestling tournament and he witnessed first hand how much work goes into the CYW program, and how dedicated the people involved are, and he knew right away he wanted to be a part of it. Greg believes that every child should have the opportunity to test their skills in a variety of sports as they grow as a way to build self confidence.  Wrestling is a great example of a sport that leads to that by combining strength and skill  while teaching control and determination.
