Why Lacrosse?
![]() Lacrosse is a sport which develops cardio/vascular fitness, agility, stability, speed, strength, endurance and hand/eye coordination. Success at lacrosse is not size or build specific.
Lacrosse requires team work and learning how to be a good teammate. Lacrosse develops and supports a strong work ethic and individual responsibility.
Lacrosse works on defining a vision, setting goals and achieving dreams.
Why Braveheart Lacrosse?
![]() Our primary rule supporting our culture is: Be a Good Person, then a Good Student and only then can you be a Great Athlete. We stress 21 Traits of a Great Teammate. As players gain experience, we seek to play strong, age-appropriate competition at every age level so that we improve as players; learn to win with grace; and on those rare occasions where we lose, lose with dignity without excuses or misplaced blame. These are life lessons that have value well beyond the field of sport.
Braveheart Lacrosse is associated with the Barron Collier Girls Lacrosse program - a program which has over a decade of being a dominant Florida and national girls lacrosse powerhouse. Braveheart has sent many young women on to play lacrosse in college, internationally and professionally.
