Coach Jon "chilled" by team in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Commissioner of Softball, Jon Takasugi, accepts the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge from co-manager Tom Benton during the Opening Ceremonies of Fall Softball at Orange Grove Park Sunday, September 14.  While South Pasadena Little League Softball has been a supporter of Breast Cancer research, being deluged by freezing water to raise money for Lou Gehrig's disease is consistent with our values, Takasugi said.  Assisting in getting their coach to chill out was Anna Riffle on the left, Stella Benton behind the bucket, and Noemi Howland.

Inside the Park promo w/ defense mask

SPLL Softball Clinics support Bobby Cao, owner of Inside the Park in West Covina.  He has a great baseball/softball only shop with specialized products not carried by the mass merchandisers, and composite bats for demo. If you haven’t tried a carbon fiber bat, you have NOT kept your eye on the ball.

He also stocks Rip-It defensive masks (~$40).  I highly recommend this purchase before a bad bounce causes flinching for the next six months.
