Over the last 10 years we have had the pleasure of seeing close to 150 players move on to the next level, academically, and in most cases athletically as well.

The bottom line is that these players WANTED to play at the next level, continue their education, and did what was necessary to get there.

This year is no exception. We are extremely proud of this particular graduating class. For the most part, this group of young men has been together for 5 years and have done everything we've asked of them, both on and off the field.

These decisions exempify what the Staten Island Orioles represent; that baseball should be used as a vehicle to higher education and that education is the main priority to a successful life.

We will not take credit for placing any player in any program, because we know that would be misleading the people we care about most, our parents and our players, both past and present.

Our involvement, was a SMALL part in the process, a decision that really has to be made by the parents, and to a greater degree, the student/athlete themselves.
